Inner musings about the data:

The data/report is a bit old at this point. However, the actual data points themselves should not be the discussion topics. Just saying the data is this or is that yields no improvement. It serves only to scare. And fear causes paralysis. Paralysis rarely creates change or yields improvement. Deeper, meaningful discussions about what these data points indicate for our society - what it will mean to be old in the future, to be sick, to be poor. And what it means for those who do not suffer from these conditions. Does society stay the same? Can it?  

My own personal thoughts: What needs to change? Probably everything. Who needs to change? Probably everyone.
